did somebody say starbucks?

google images

Just in case you needed to find a local Starbucks nearby to study or whatever, I came across this site that lists out all the Starbucks in the GTA and nearby cities. Not going to lie I was kind of impressed that somebody actually did this and that it's pretty up to date!

On the street....NYC/Toronto/Vancouver

M.L.H

The Style Spy

Cause what blog wouldn't be complete without some sort of Sartorialist-esque inspiration/mimicking right?

Madame Tussauds does the Obamas

concreteloop

Yup, looks like the Obamas have been Madame Tussauds-ified. Michelle and Obama can be seen at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Washington, DC. It's almost kind of scary how realistic Michelle looks. What do you think?

It's Jay-once!

Kanye West Blog

I'm normally not the biggest fan of Miss Sasha Fierce aka Beyonce Knowles but she does looks pretty good in these recent pictures. I'm likin the Grey Ant sunglasses on her.

On a side note, according to Parade Magazine Jay Z and Beyonce earned a total of $162 Million dollars in 2008! Jay Z earned $82 million and Beyonce $80 million. I'd say they're doing pretty well.

Is it just me, or does he not look like

Guggenheim Bilbao

Takashi Murakami's exhibit has been on display for a while now but I came across it again after my visit to the site. Billed as the Japanese Andy Warhol, Murakami's works touches upon popular culture, high art and low art, and contemporary Japanese society. Oh how I wish I could see this exhibit. Spain anyone? :)

"I Want To Believe" Guggenheim (Spain)

I can't even imagine how long it must have taken to hang up all of those! :S

Super Touch
Check out this installation at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. Cai Guo-Qiang's I Want To Believe deals with ideas of transformation, expenditure of materials, and connectivity.
Check out the rest of the exhibit here!

why buy croco when you can have paper?

Time to make up for lost posting days as statistics owns me right now slash the lack of inspiration going on up there. Anywhoo...thanks to those who keep checking back everyday and I do apologize for the lack of updates as of late however, updates are going to be a bit sporadic for a while.

Images: (Left) google images, (right) Life Files

Onto business, I totally took this from The Life Files since I loved it! If you're feeling crafty at all go to the Hermes website and download your own Kelly bag! An interesting procrastination project too might I add! Unless you're Victoria Beckham or Martha Stewart, the chances of getting one of these are pretty slim! But I mean every girl deserves to own their own Kelly, even if it is made from paper!

As Martha would say, "It's a good thing!"

and to keep things diverse

The trailer for Sacha Baron Cohen's new movie Bruno! This looks like a good one!

Scarlette Johansson wants you to drink Moët

I'm not exactly the biggest Scarlett Johansson fan but I must admit she looks absolutely smashing in her new campaign for Moët et Chandon.
First L'oreal, D&G, now Moët? Get that money girl!

Baby I want you to be my ENTOURAGE

Sooo...after a few episodes I'm officially hooked onto HBO's Entourage. I know I'm a bit behind on this one, but if it had not been for Muchmoremusic playing it from the beginning I probably would never get around to watching it. And yes I too have become a fan of Adrian Grenier,
he's too awesome.

Now onto the other 60 shows I said I would finally watch, bye bye finals!? :S
